Terms of Service
Effective 30 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Reelopedia. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.
Reelopedia is an independently operated application. "The app" means the Reelopedia Android application and the service behind it, and "we", "our", and "us" mean its operator, whose registered developer details are held by Google Play.
Who may use Reelopedia
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You sign in either with a Google account or with an email address and password, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.
What the app does
You share links to short-form videos — from Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and Facebook — and Reelopedia stores them and sorts them into categories automatically, so you can find them again later.
Which platforms work, and how well, depends on those platforms rather than on us. They change how their pages and videos are served without notice, and when that happens a link may save with less detail than usual, or fail to save at all, until the app is updated to match.
Content and ownership
The videos you save are not owned by Reelopedia and not owned by you. They belong to whoever created them. Reelopedia stores the link, publicly available details, a thumbnail, and text it derives from the video — as a personal reference for you, in the way a bookmark works.
You are responsible for making sure your use of any saved video complies with the terms of the platform it came from and with copyright law. Do not use Reelopedia to redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit content you do not have rights to.
Acceptable use
Do not use Reelopedia to:
- Save or process content that is illegal where you live
- Save child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes terrorism or violence
- Circumvent the technical restrictions of any platform, or scrape it at scale
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service
- Resell access to the service or use it to build a competing product
Accounts that breach these rules may be suspended or removed without notice.
Subscriptions and payment
Reelopedia has a free tier and a paid Pro tier. The free tier lets you keep up to 70 saved videos in total — a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. Deleting a saved video frees its slot. Pro removes that limit. Exporting your library is free on every tier. All payments are handled by Google Play Billing — Reelopedia never receives or stores your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.
- Cancel at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
- Access to Pro features continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy, not by Reelopedia.
- Prices and the features included in each tier may change. Notice will be given before a change affects an existing subscription.
Availability
Reelopedia is a personal project run by one developer. It may be unavailable for maintenance, may change, and may be discontinued. If the service is discontinued while you hold a paid subscription, you will be given reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data.
Automatic categorisation is generated by an AI model. It will sometimes be wrong. Do not rely on it for anything consequential.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything saved under it. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Play subscription — cancel that separately in Google Play.
Disclaimer and liability
Reelopedia is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or to preserve your data indefinitely — keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not remove consumer protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. If a change is material, the effective date above will change and you will be asked to review the terms the next time you open the app. Continuing to use Reelopedia after that means you accept the new terms.
